Tommy's Lane Yarra Valley Pinot Noir
Our Tommy’s Lane Pinot Noir is made in Victoria’s Yarra Valley region from a single vineyard, of 2 different Pinot Noir clones, in Yarra Glen, was harvested, then crushed and fermented, into open fermenters. Light fermentation plunging of the skin cap over 14 days’ fermentation. Inoculated for malolactic fermentation, and pressed to quality, charry French oak.
On the nose it is enticing complex aromas of cherries and strawberries are overlain, with chocolate/mocha oak, sweet char and earthiness
The palate is soft with cherry flavours, star anise, and roasted nuts. Long, succulent acidity, with just the right balance of skin and oak tannins, and a dark chocolate and coffee finish
We suggest pairing this delicious wine with Peking Duck, Five Spice Chicken or your favourite cheese platter.
